Negative: The hotel was undergoing some sort of renovation so the room was missing several light fixtures, no mirror in the bathroom, no shower curtain. The smaller beds in the room were camping beds which were extremely uncomfortable with very thin mattresses . We had to place the mattresses on the floor which was still uncomfortable but more comfortable than the small beds if you could believe it. There was no WiFi information in the room and we had to contact the host for this, the WiFi was weak and almost unusable. There’s a strong smell of pig manure in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel was almost completely unmanned, we were checked in by someone who didn’t seem like they worked there he provided absolutely no practical information about the stay he just showed us to our rooms and left. When booking, it was indicated that breakfast would be available but in the morning when we asked the singular staff that was present at the hotel didn’t seem to know what we were talking about. After contacting the owner we were informed that breakfast was only available on request and we had to have requested it a day in advance, we were not informed of this prior to checking in so we had to drive 15 minutes into the next town for breakfast. There’s supposed to be a cafe ‘round the corner’ but it turned out to be a bakery that only served bread and coffee. All in all the stay was absolutely not worth the price, other than the fact that the hotel seems to be newly renovated, it’s almost abandoned with barely anyone ever on the property to assist the guests. I would not recommend booking here unless you’re just a single or couple party (so you don’t have to use the small camping beds) no kids, and just passing through.
