Summary: My large party family had a great stay at this house in a very quiet neighborhood while visiting NOLA for a long weekend. Our host was super accommdating and quick to answer questions before and during our stay. This was our first time flying a great distance with small kids and our usual routine didn’t work. Communicating with our host helped them meet our needs and they made sure to check in with us. Having stayed at several rental homes with this large group, there were some things we noticed as atypical. First, there are not many kitchen materials. We didn’t end up cooking, but had we wanted to, we would've had to think around some stuff. Second, there are not many towels, and while there is a washer and dryer, we really didn't have a ton of time to do that. Third, we ended up getting a delivery of some household items the first night that we didn’t expect needing, like handsoaps for the restrooms and extra toilet paper. Finally, if you are someone who sleeps in a dark environment, this place is very bright! There are thin curtains in the windows, but not blinds throughout the house. My kids ended up waking very early because they were not used to the light and my inlaws had some trouble sleeping in the bottom bedroom from the streetlight. All in all, a nice quiet stay with just some minor inconveniences that I think will change over time.
