A beautifully restored house with plenty of charm, built in 1810, to share with family or friends in the heart of a peaceful village, whose church, well and bread oven have recently been restored and its rural heritage preserved. Wake up to the sun clearing the mists of the Dordogne valley and enjoy an 'aperitif' in the garden to the sound of the church bells as you admire the sunset over the hills. In between, you can enjoy the region at your leisure, rich in splendid scenery and historical heritage. An unforgettable vacation!
We're in the untouched landscapes of the Dordogne valley, close to some of the world's most exceptional sites: Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne (4 km), Gouffre de Padirac (22 km), Collonges-la-Rouge (27 km), Martel (27 km), Rocamadour (33 km), the prehistoric caves of Lascaux and Pechmerle (80 km). France's most beautiful villages (Carennac, Loubressac, Autoire, etc.) are a 15 minute drive away, as are the Renaissance Château de Montal and the pretty medieval town of Saint-Céré.
Numerous activities are available nearby: swimming on the (almost) wild beaches of the Dordogne at a walkable distance, in leisure centers with lakes or at the municipal swimming pool, fishing, canoeing, hiking and mountain biking, horse riding and golf, etc. and even movies!
Close to all shops and services (supermarket, post office, health center 4 km away). Several picturesque markets in the surrounding villages (Bretenoux, Beaulieu, Argentat, etc.) to discover local products.
