Travel Purpose: business
Positive: Wonderful spacious apartment (we stayed on the ground floor) with a lovely terrasse to eat and relax on. Very well equipped kitchen with a large table to eat in, comfortable bedrooms (with loads of storage) and large modern bathrooms. Loads of living space across the living room, eat-in kitchen and outside dining table (both of which seat 8). Terrace also equipped with sun loungers and BBQ, and access to garden which has table tennis and badminton. Access to several walks a short drive away and a short drive to Megeve centre with various shops and restaurants. The owner Jean-Pascale was VERY helpful and attended to all our needs promptly (eg. Organised a make-shift gate for the terrace so we could allow our dog on the terrace unsupervised without fear of him running out, fixed a shower head that we broke during our stay on the same day despite it being a Sunday even)
Negative: Nothing to fault re the property itself, but worth noting that it is close to a road and so you do hear some traffic (albeit nothing too noisy) Also the property is less isolated than the pictures may indicate and is surrounded by other apartment blocks a short distance away Finally, it is worth mentioning you need a car ideally as the property is in Mont D’Arboir which has no shops or restaurants you can walk to, and the nearest facilities are at Megeve centre which is 6-7 min drive away.
Summary: Comfortable, spacious well equipped apartment with a lovely terrace!
