Positive: The bed was comfortable. The bathroom functional. Very quiet location.
Negative: Totally closed on arrival. Phoned number displayed at entrance door, answering machine. Made enquiries with a nearby shop established that some should be at premises by 1600. (Now 1530) Fortunately, the manager turned up around 1545. Unlocked hotel and advised the hotel is closed Monday? Showed us our room that was compact with a separate bathroom/shower. The hotel bar area is separated from the rooms by a locked door. We were given a code to use hotel (3 rooms) rear entrance. No food facility at hotel. We were left to our own devices. Not sure if we were the only people on site overnight, we left at 0840 and didn't see anyone. The persistent rain didn't help and finding a place to eat on a Monday, forget it in this area. We made do with a "picnic" from the local supermarket. There was no pre warning about the hotel being closed that we feel is a bit unfair. Although the booking stated, "There is no meal plan with this booking" in my extensive experience of using booking.com this means I have not prebooked any meals. A bit disappointing considering our hotel in Agen (Ibis) is only €9 more and in comparison far better value. No doubt on a sunny day when the hotel is fully functional and the agoining puzzaer The Concept hotel is a nice place to stay but on our experiance we would not recommend it.
