Positive: A lovely place and well worth the drive. Our family room was huge, with a double bed, single beds, games for children and even a computer to use. We had our own bathroom and essentially the whole upper floor, including a mezzanine, to ourselves. The breakfast was excellent – generous, varied and with everything you could want. The hosts were both extremely friendly and welcoming, taking the time to chat with us about our trip. We only stayed for a short time, but would happily have stayed longer.
Negative: The property is quite off the beaten track and, particularly when arriving at night, the small winding roads can make it feel a little difficult to find. It isn’t very well signposted, so we would definitely recommend using GPS for the final part of the journey.
Summary: A lovely place and worth the drive - excellent breakfast and genuinely warm welcome
