The cabin is a private little studio nestled on a corner lot with a view of pine, oak, and cedar trees, but is also on the corner of two roads, making it convienent to town. The oldest town in Texas, Nacogdoches, is 17 miles away, and the largest lake in Texas, Sam Rayburn, is a 25 minute drive. We hope you will be our guest during your visit to Lufkin.

Summary: I happened across the listing just by chance and I'm glad I did. We have never stayed at a place like this but we will definitely stay here again. First off I love the covered parking, it was very nice to pull up to a well lit covered parking area. The covered front porch was a perfect addition on the front and offers a great option for guests. The cabin was very clean, with a great rustic country feel and look. We loved the inside it was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The bed was a great addition as it is adjustable and can be used as the main piece of furniture, which in this case is not a bad thing, very cozy. We loved having the washer and dryer, very convenient. The road noise was noticeable but nothing more than another hotel room. We didn't get a chance to meet the owner, although she did offer, but we had a busy weekend and just couldn't. She was very nice and informative and very helpful with everything. Overall we enjoyed the property and we will stay here again.
