Summary: The pros: House looks just like the pictures, very cozy and the back deck is great. Good location. Was clean. The cons: When we got there we came across a few issues. Empty propane tank for grill, door had fallen off lower kitchen cabinet, bottom freezer drawer would not open. These items were promptly sent to whomever Vacasa has watching the property. We were told to get our own propane tank (not what I want to do on vacation) and that someone would be by the next day to fix everything else. Next day comes....no one. The day after we had repairmen show up (they were wonderful and friendly) but the freezer could not be repaired because it was going to be a big job. We also discovered that this issue had already been reported in the past. We were told by Vacasa that there was nothing they could do and that we would get a refund, the amount of which kept changing. Then nothing. Silence. No responses from Vacasa rep. I was, as the kids say, "ghosted". I had to reach out and contact them through another channel and then spent multiple hours with Vacasa/VRBO post-trip to find out if I was ever going to get the promised refund. (I did after much pestering). I will never book a property with Vacasa again.
