If you choose this appartment, you are:

Suitable for families up to 4 persons, the flat is designed with a modern style. The entryway is spacious with a mirrored cabinet. The living area is open space where there are two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed, a 42” TV, a comfortably sized kitchen and a balcony.
The TV is with CHROMECAST, too.
You can see only all free channels on the Satellites ASTRA and HOTBIRD. There is also WIFI connection. In the case of small children, there is a sofa bed in the bedroom and a stroller, carriage and a travel crib that can be made available to you. I assure you that you will find a very cozy, cool summer and hot winter house with radiators that start automatically during day and night , while maintaining the desired temperature. There is a kitchen equipped with fridge, oven, stove, microwave, kettle, washing machine and all accessories to cook and enjoy the delicacies purchased at the market or at a nearby supermarket, open until 21:00. We will provide you with towels and sheets and in the case of long stays, we will provide you a weekly change.
The flat is only 7 minutes walking distance from the beach, or 15 minutes from the touristic Port of Ostia Lido.
There are two public beaches, one of which is perfect for children because the water is shallow. Beach towels are provided. For a great breakfast, we suggest that you go to the bread shop which can be found directly under the flat or choose from the two coffee shops just across the street. For lunch, you could try the pizzeria that is just down the street. Within just a few minutes walking distance you can find: supermarkets, an open market for local produce, pharmacies, banks, post offices, gelato shops, churches, parks for children and furry friends.
The bus stop is just down the street. From there, you can get to the train station Lido Centro that can take you to Ostia Antica (10 minutes) or Rome (30 minutes). The Fiumicino/Roma Airport is only 15 minutes away by car or you can take a bus (leaves every 20 minutes) from the Lido Centro train station in Ostia.
Please remember that it is the Rome City tax to be paid in cash at arrival. 3,5€/night/person.

Summary: Property is exactly as advertised, simple but clean, well-appointed and located within easy walk of a magnificent beachfront with many restaurants and bars. Close to Ostia Antica. An interesting area in its own right architecturally due to the many Art Deco buildings erected in the 20s and 30s during Mussolini's reign. The real gem is the host, Lory, who is outgoing, friendly, and knowledgeable and goes the extra distance to ensure your stay is enjoyable. Thanks for the treats, advice on transit, arrangement for my taxi, the mini-tour and the many suggestions for food etc. We will be back!
