Just nearby (300 meters) is the Big Square and the local restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. The pedestrian area with nice little shops is to be reached in max. 5 minutes walk.

This lovely place is located right in the historical center of Sibiu, just 300 meters from the Big Square and is available for anyone who wants to stay in Sibiu for a short stay or for a while. From this place you can reach anywhere in the city center with a short walk of max 5 min.
You will be hosted in a very charming apartment, located at 2nd floor, with genuine wooden floor and solid wooden furniture, with genuine doors with stained glass, with a part of the ceiling covered by original fresco, located in a prestigious house established in 1868 by an Austrian architect, when Transylvania was still under Austrian-Hungarian Empire!
You will find a warm welcome at your arrival and we will try to satisfy all your needs during your stay. The apartment was fully renovated in 2017, has one bedroom with queen bed from which you can go out on an amazing private architectural balcony (where smoking facility is at your disposal), a living area with a comfortable pull out couch that makes a queen bed for 2 people, and a dining place. The open kitchen has all brand new appliances: toaster, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, dish washer, electric oven and stove which gives you the possibility to cook on your own. Linens, towels, slippers, toiletries (body wash, shampoo, liquid soap, toilet paper), high speed WiFi, TV cable with smart TV's in each room, hairdryer are provided. We are glad to offer you complimentary coffee, tee, water.
Our apartment has a charming balcony that will provide a calm and quiet atmosphere and it is really nice to have such an option being in the center of the city!
The apartment is located on 2nd floor on Filarmonicii Street, no.23, ap.4, 300 m distance from Big Square, in a 3 floors historic building, in Sibiu historic center. The house has a back yard, where you can park your car (subject of availability) with no charge. Even if the parking place in the courtyard is occupied, the public parking place is right across the street / under the apartment's windows. There will be a small charge of max. 2 RON / day (approx 0,40 EUR / day) on weekdays and Saturday (from 8 AM until 06 PM), and free on Sunday. You can pay cash, in RON, at machines located right on the street
The access is very easy, directly from main street in a courtyard and immediately on the right you enter in the building. The area is safe during day and night and is very close (100 m) from Tineretului Park with a nice playground for children.
We welcome you and help you accommodate. We offer you for free a locked luggage room for early check-in or later check-out right near the apartment, in order to make your staying very relaxing and flexible.

The apartment is in a great location, surrounded by restaurants and bars, and is a 5 minute walk from the Large or Small Square of Sibiu. The neighborhood is packed with things to do - restaurants, bars, live music, museums, art galleries, shopping, street events, festivals etc.
The Old city part is known for its nice old buildings but also for some good food and cafes and nightlife spots.
Our house is quiet but just few streets away from some of the best nightlife in Sibiu: starting April there are plenty of pubs and bars with terrace in the Big & Little square, which is just 5 minute walk away from our apartment.
The Main Train Station is at max. 1 km away, while the Sibiu International Airport is situated 8 km away from the property. Pedestrian area with various restaurants, bars and shops can be found in the vicinity.
For attractions, sightseeing, tours recommendations, events please visit which is the official website of the town, translated in english and german. Also Sibiu Tourism office is located in Big Square (very close to our apartment).
The Open Air Museum is situated 8 kilometers away from the city center, spreads across a 96 ha area and is the largest open air ethnographic exhibition in Europe.
The Paltinis Ski Slope and Summer Fun Park for children (and not only)(called Arena Platos) can be reached in 30 minutes by car. The salty lakes of Ocna Sibiului are 18 km away from city center where you can find on a summer time the saltiest lakes in Europe where you can bath and feel like at a seaside.
The apartment is very close to public transportation (3 minutes by walking) and the public parking place is right in front of the building, under the windows of living and bedroom.
The airport is to be reached in 15 minutes by cab (taxis are only about 2 RON per KM. At the airport, on arrival, you can withdraw the local currency (RON) at the ATM in the arrival hall.
Our city is a small medieval town and there’s not one major site you can’t get to by walking.
