Welcome to this wonderful cottage with a fantastic location and its own lake plot just 10 m from Helgasjön.
You have your own lake plot with a sandy beach, jetty and great swimming and fishing opportunities. The rent includes a kayak, but you have the option to bring your own boat and park it at your beach.
The house has a large leafy plot and is very child-friendly with a small slide, sup boards and toys for children. You have a wonderful glazed conservatory with a panoramic view of Lake Helgasjön. The conservatory has an air source heat pump for cooler evenings. The cottage has 3 bedrooms (2 double beds 1.40 and a bunk bed). The annex, which is 12 square meters, has a double bed 1.60 and a bunk bed, so you can choose if you would rather sleep in the annex instead of in the cabin, but the house is for max. 6 people. It includes Apple TV and Wifi / fiber.
Things to do in Växjö and the surrounding area
Although it is only 8 km to Växjö, where you live you hear no traffic and it is a quiet area. The nearest restaurant is Villa Vik only 1.8 km away. If you come by plane, Småland Airport is 16 km from your cabin. In Växjö there is also a railway station for those arriving by train.
Evedals Värdshus, which is opposite you on the other side of the lake, serves classic Swedish home cooking. The steamer Thor operates on Lake Helgasjön from May to August. Take a trip through Sweden's southernmost lock. Start at the Kronoberg castle ruins, then tour up to Åbysluss. Lake Helgasjön has hundreds of islands, many bays and straits and four larger fjords.
