2 Bedroom House in Redmond
Greetings!
My husband and I are pleased to take this opportunity to share our home with you. It shares a driveway with the guest house and RV space which may have tenants or which may be available to rent - just ask.
Our home has 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king bed. The second bedroom has 2 full size beds. Additional guests (up to 8 in total guests) can use the two fold out floor mattresses which are stored in the guest bedroom closet.
The full size kitchen has everything you'll need to enjoy home cooked meals. Or you can relax in the large living room and watch TV with a bowl of freshly popped popcorn from our popcorn machine!
We encourage our guests to enjoy time in the outdoors by providing space for gathering, eating, and playing in the yards and deck. A propane grill is provided for guest use.
This home has easy access to HWY 97 and everything that Central Oregon has to offer!
Our home is just a few miles from summer swimming and year round enjoyment at Cline Falls State Park, 2 miles from Redmond airport, 1 mile from Deschutes fairgrounds, about 15 miles from Smith Rock State Park, and close to many other exciting location.
Late fall, winter, and early spring bring shorter days and longer nights. This means time to relax - and trips to the mountains for skiing and other snow sports.
We do permit 1 dog for an additional fee. No pets on beds/furniture or left on property unattended. Also, the yard is not pet proof!
Guest access
Guests have full access to the home and private back yard.
Guests do not have access to the rear guest house, attached storage or RV space.
Please park close to the house in the provided spaces and do not block parking for the other house or RV pad.
Other things to note
Although it looks very modern, the home was actually built in the 50's and has its quirks, accordingly.
As many older homes, this one has sensitive pipes and we ask you to not put any food, grease, etc in the kitchen sink (there is no garbage disposal). Also, no feminine products, wet wipes (not even the supposedly septic friendly type) in the toilet, please.
We make every effort to have lawns mowed on un-booked days, but occasionally schedules cannot be adjusted.
Our home is NOT smoker friendly. Smoking is not tolerated in the house or within 10 feet of any door or window. Any evidence of smoking inside the house will result in a fine of no less than $250 and up to $1000. If cigarette butts are left outside for us to pick up, you will be charged an extra $50 cleaning fee.
NO PETS ON ANY FURNITURE OR BED AT ANY TIME.
PETS MAY NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED ON THE PROPERTY AT ANY TIME.
PETS MUST BE HOUSE TRAINED.
There is no pet door, so you must take your pet outside to potty in the backyard. Be aware that the fence is only 4' high and can be seen through. There are wild bunnies and other creatures in the area, as well as a busy street, so do not leave your pet unattended in the back yard.
