The capital and port city of Ajaccio, the birthplace of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, is ideal for a longer day trip. Porticcio is approx. 22 km away and is also worth a visit. The small coastal town offers good restaurants and tourist attractions such as boat trips to Bonifaccio or to the fantastic rocky bays of Piana.
