Furthermore, the size of the tents is 5 x 7 metres, which is two metres longer than our other Villatents.
More about the campsite
The centre of the campsite is the terrace, where you can find plenty of shade under the plane-trees. From the terrace, you look out over the swimming pool, the lake, the small beach, the playground and the campsite’s surroundings. During the high season, the snack bar is open, while the terrace provides a variety of dishes and freshly baked pizza a few times a week. Throughout the entire season you can order bread at the bar.
Sports lovers can go to the sports field, and not far from the campsite, there are a tennis court, a golf court, and a go-kart track. Also highly recommended are a canoe expedition through the Dordogne and a visit to the morning markets in Issigeac, Lalinde, Vergt, Le Bugue or Bergerac/Périgeux. There are four Villatents Luxe at Campsite Lestaubière, which differ to some extent from our ‘standard’ tents. They are suitable for six persons (double bed and two bunk beds), and the sleeping quarters are separated by a tent-cloth. Furthermore, the size of the tents is 5 x 7 metres, which is two metres longer than our other Villatents.
Swimming pool and lake
The campsite has a beautiful swimming pool with a paddling area for toddlers and a field where you enjoy the sun. In addition, there is a swimming lake, also with a field, and a children’s beach. In the lake, there is a water platform that is easily accessible for children. They will have a great time playing in the sun, climbing on the platform, and diving into the water.
Activities and entertainment
The Dutch speaking team of Lestaubière offers an extensive entertainment programme for both younger children and teenagers. The broad range of activities include, among other events, a Chinese lantern tour, a play back show, a hayride, a scavenger hunt and a table tennis tournament. In addition, both a kids’ disco and a discotheque for teenagers are organised on a regular basis. Will you be going on holiday with older children?
