Escape to the country and relax at this comfortable, rustic, country home on a private Georgian Manor House estate. Spacious and charming, this home is just 5 minutes drive from Glyndebourne & Lewes in the South Downs National park. Middleham West has 4 comfortable bedroom’s including a luxury primary bedroom with copper tub en-suite and stunning views across the countryside.
There is also access to a full outdoor tennis court and the house has a pretty fully fenced country garden.
Middleham West is the west wing of the main manor house and is an ideal retreat for groups of up to 8 adults to unwind and de-stress. This home is full of character and styled with quirky & unique vintage fittings. There is plenty of space to enjoy including a large dining room with real wood log burner and plush lounge with comfy sofas to flop into. There is also a dedicated desk space area for those who need to work away.
The modern kitchen has everything you will need including a gas oven,dishwasher & fridge freezer. There is also a full utility room with both washing machine.
The house has four bedrooms, three double beds and one King size bed in the primary bedroom.
There are two and half bathrooms and one downstairs toilet. The family bathroom upstairs, has both bath & shower, and the ensuite has both shower and huge copper tub bath to soak & relax in.
The TV is in the lounge and has an aerial, so you can access your netflix if required. The house also has Alexa on the ground floor areas.
Outside is a fully fenced country garden, complete with BBQ area with table and chairs for eating Al fresco . Doggies are very welcome we ask to keep them on a lead outside of Middleham's West's gate as we have other animals on the estate. We also ask to please pick up any dog droppings and dispose of them in the outside bin.
I am afraid we cannot accomodate children under 12 years old without prior agreement. We do not have any facilities for children i.e no childs locks, childrens beds or cots and our house has antiques that could be within a childs reach. Please do message me to discuss your requirements.
