Summary: Dirt road to the property is rough. The neighbor to the left looks literally like a junk yard. We walked through spider webs on our way to the door. Found that the property had not been cleaned. The property manager offered to cancel and refund our money but we had no where else to go as our daughter, son-in-law, and 4 grandkids were in route. While we appreciated the apology of the property manager, it would have been reasonable to compensate us in some way. Trash cans were full and we had to wash the pots and pans we used. There were ants and more spider webs inside the house. Internet was spotty. (My iPhone said it had weak security). Definitely not a “luxury” lake house. We had planned this months in advance and we were very disappointed.
