It is a 10 minute walk into the village, ideal for the early bird that wishes to surprise the family with fresh bread and a newspaper at breakfast! Its central location within the island puts both the northern and southern beaches within close proximity. The idyllic beach of Binigaus is only 14 minutes drive away. Alaior itself is a small interior town, very much undeveloped touristically and perhaps the most authentic town on the island. Summary: Our family spent a lovely week at Magister Gardens. Most days we spent visiting various beaches around the island and afternoons lounging in the garden and jumping in and out of the pool. Our kids enjoyed playing tennis and badminton on the green field with the raquets that were at the house. The gardens really were spectacular and we enjoyed them as much as we could. The town of Alaior is almost in the centre of the island so not a far drive to get to any of the beaches, towns and restaurants. It was also very handy to be able to get into town and grocery shops so quickly, by either walking or driving. The multiple playgrounds were great too! Because there was a touch of rain when we first arrived we actually made a fire indoors, which was charming and lovely. There were a few mosquitos and it was very handy to have mosquito nets for the kids, although they didn't bother the adults. Nick and his team were very helpful and always responded to questions and concerns quickly. Thanks for a great stay!
