Summary: This house is priced and rated 5*. In our opinion it is not. We have been giteing in this area for around 40 years. We think that we were the first tenants at Le Prarie. The house is so cluttered and ‘busy’ and very personal. The WiFi and tv are - at best - intermittent. No doubt due to the surrounding landscape. It’s 2022. Any old house rating itself 4 or 5 star in this area even in a normal summer must have air-conditioning. Upstairs at the very least. Four of the main house ‘bedrooms’ are in the attic and fans are useless. In this area the high temperature point is 5pm. The back door step onto the terrace is lethal. Children jump it, but for the elderly It’s positively dangerous. Equally the pool would be safer for the elderly with a handrail. The pool is lovely. The separate guest bedroom (5ft bed) is icy cool! Missing - corkscrew and can opener. Wine and foie gras! For 5* the lovely pool house needs a loo.
