Positive: This was probably the nicest self catering property we’ve ever stayed in! It is beautifully appointed with a newly fitted kitchen, spacious double fridge and new oven,microwave etc, everything worked beautifully. The cupboards were supplied with useful incidentals like cling film and tin foil. There was even some tea and coffee! There were ample kitchen and cooking utensils. In fact almost all of what we needed for a comfortable stay was there. As keen rugby fans, we were delighted to be able to watch the World Cup Matches in the comfort of our own home. My husband was sailing and much appreciated the utility room and washing machine. Even a drying rack was there for use in the little private terrace garden. Upstairs were two large bedrooms and a lovely bathroom with a good powerful shower. The double bed was comfortable and the wardrobe was provided with more than ample clothes hangers. We were delighted to find a parking space always available directly opposite the house and a wonderful bakery just minutes away, their little quiches and strawberry tarts were scrumptious
Negative: Really we liked everything, but if I must quibble we found the bed base on the double bed had sharp edges which my husband cut himself on twice and unfortunately he bled through his plasters, leaving bloodstains on the sheets. Oh and one last little gripe there were no oven gloves, in such a well supplied house ,these might have been useful.
