Summary: I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel grounds are very beautiful and the view of the volcano is astounding. I could stay forever in that courtyard; it's so romantic and pretty. I loved my room as well, very comfy bed and the shower was nice. Lots of space to put my stuff. The hotel staff were all nice and accommodating. I enjoyed breakfast on my first day; I didn't eat there for the rest of my trip as my day tours departed very early. My one piece of advice for this hotel is that if you are arriving very early or super late, you need to communicate with the hotel staff beforehand. I thought I had done that, but I arrived around 12am after coming in from a flight to Guatemala City and the gates to the hotel were locked. Thankfully my taxi driver stayed with me, calling the hotel multiple times, and knocking at the door. After about 30 minutes, someone finally answered and I got in. That was a little scary since it was my first time in Guatemala, but I was grateful for the help I received.
