Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is superb. Very quiet and wonderful views. The staff were all friendly and helpful from the front desk staff to Kate who served breakfast and Rachel the housekeeper. The breakfast was substantial and there were a good variety of options. The room was spotlessly clean and well supplied with tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable.

Negative: A relatively minor issue. The rooms in Pembroke have no comfortable seating, just one desk-style chair and so if one were watching television in the evening this would involve lying on the bed. However, this wasn't a major issue for us as we were out most of the time.

Summary: A lovely peaceful environment with friendly, helpful staff.
