The dining room is surrounded by large windows so that you are able to take advantage of the wonderful scenery that abounds in Duck Creek.
Due to the location in a mountainous setting, the activities and local attractions vary depending on the season. In the winter, snowmobiling is extremely popular and connects you to hundreds of miles of trails. Brian Head ski resort is also about 40 minutes away. In the summer, ATVs and motorcycles become the preferred mode of transportation and unlock seemingly endless territory to explore. Regardless of the activity, the Moccasin provides you with an inviting refuge to wind down in front of the fire in the winter or to watch the sunset while relaxing on the deck after a summer BBQ.

Summary: Local of the property was great, we had about 12 people staying. group consisted of 2 families of 4, and 2 couples. The check in was at 4, and we arrived at 2. There wasn’t anyone there so we assumed the place had been cleaned. Front door was unlocked, but place had not yet been cleaned. At about 220 the cleaning crew arrived. When we came back at 4, cleaning crew was just leaving. There were broken dishes in the dishwasher, and I made sure to let management know that we were not responsible for that. I also noticed a couple windows that had BB holes in them. We move the coffee table, only to find out they were feathers, cheese curds, and a lot of other disgusting things under it. Therefore we went ahead and got out the vacuum cleaner and swept the cabin again. I would not suggest lifting the couch cushions, unless you would like to sweep those as well. When we arrived, I also noticed that we did not have Internet. I texted the property management, and they said that it would be taken care of right away. The following day, I let them know that it still wasn’t working, and they said they would once again get back to me with an update right away. Needless to say, each and every day I would request information on when the Internet would be back up and running, and each and every day I got the exact same response. I believe it is an automated system and we never did have Internet while we were there. Considering I needed it for work, this was a huge deal for me. I had to rely on my cell service which was spotty at the cabin. We did load down the refrigerator while we were there, and it struggled to keep food cold. I would suggest that they upgrade the frig, and they may also need to look at replacing their dryer. It is very nice to have a washer and dryer when you’re staying for a weeklong trip, and that was definitely something I looked for in a rental. Unfortunately the dryer took 3-4 times as long as what it should have to dry clothes. Therefore, it was kind of feckless for the needs of a group our size. They should also have a larger hot water tank. I wasn’t 1st in the shower at night, so mine were ice cold. I believe the location is spectacular, and the house had plenty of space for everyone to sleep. I think the home itself is absolutely gorgeous. It was very nice having a large living rm that everyone could gather together in the evening, but 4 the $$ it cost, we had way too many issues.
