Summary: Stayed here with my partner, her mother and nephew, and some friends and their children. 8 of us total. We were able to all sleep comfortably, but it was a bit crowded at times. Beautiful place, small private pond on the property is good for kayaking and c&r fishing, but not swimmable, which the kids were disappointed to learn. Spent one clear evening stargazing on the dock - saw more stars than I had in my whole life. The younger kids loved the zipline, and we had evening fires in the firepit (after 7pm - firewood sold separately). Everything we needed was there; dishes, condiments, spare blankets, coffee. The owners sent a guide for the coffee machine, which helped. Once we had figured it out, we used it almost constantly. The morning of checkout was a little strange. The owners booted our friends streaming accounts off of their TV almost first thing in the morning, which made keeping the younger kids busy while we were packing up was difficult. They also cut the wifi about an hour before we left. When I sent the host a text message asking about it, I was left on read. I half expected the power to shut-off at 11. Maybe they've had some guests overstay in the past, but I've never felt shoo'd out of a short-term cottage rental before.
