Positive: The house felt very spacious and was nicely updated. As people that like to cook, we really loved the kitchen and the modern appliances, as well as the equipment provided for preparing meals. It was a warm location getaway for remote work for us, and it worked well for that. It was close to many stores for supplies and local parks for evening walks. We also liked the sidewalk across the street for a morning walk/run close to the house. The lanai covered pool and patio were amazing for spending many hours outside. It's also centrally located to the Punta Gorda airport, beaches, and seaside towns.
Negative: It says heated pool right in the description, and the pool was definitely not heated. Being from Michigan, the water felt normal to us--but we probably should have contacted the owner to find out why it wasn't on/working. The blinds on the big patio doors were in need of repair or being replaced.
Summary: Great location and house for a winter escape while continuing to work remotely!
