This wonderful two-bedroom apartment is located in the lively Astoria, New York City and features tasteful, modern and mid-century modern furniture and fixtures throughout. The apartment is very sunny, airy, and spacious. At about 850 square feet, the apartment takes up the entire floor of the townhouse.
The living room is very large and comfortable, with a beautiful modern sectional sofa and classic Panton lounge chair. The sectional sofa configures into a queen size bed. There is a large flat-screen television to watch movies via cable tv, which sits atop the beautiful solid walnut media cabinet.
Make a meal with ease and enjoyment in the fully equipped kitchen. Whether you make a feast from scratch, or whip up a simple meal, or just order in from one of the many amazing nearby restaurants, you can dine on the amazing Saarinen rosewood dining table as you sit comfortably in the classic original Saarinen dining chairs, under the beautiful warm, modern lighting that can be doubled as a piece of art.
The main bedroom is in the rear of the townhouse, overlooking the garden, which makes for a totally peaceful night's sleep. There is a Tempur-Pedic queen size mattress, which sits on top of the beautiful solid maple bed. The Tempur-Pedic mattress is perhaps the best mattress available and will most certainly provide you with a therapeutic and rejuvenating night's sleep. Just what you need to have in your home away from home!
The second bedroom, which is also located in the rear of the house, has a sofa bed made in Denmark that turns into a very comfortable bed between a queen and king size and there is a solid walnut dresser. ***Update: We have now added a queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress to the second bedroom as well. The mattress is currently sitting nicely on top of the opened up orange sofa bed. New photos will be added soon.***
In addition to the two queen size Tempur-Pedic beds and the sectional sofa that configures into a queen size bed, we also have available a queen size air mattress with a memory foam top.
The bathroom features exquisite floor to ceiling carrara marble tile. There is also an amazing skylight above, which fills the bathroom with natural light all day. After a long day, step into the bathroom for a warm and soothing therapeutic shower, under the 10-inch rain showerhead and 6 shower jets, which are sure to massage and relax you. Get ready for a day or evening out, as you make use of the expansive wall mirror and beautiful solid walnut vanity with wall faucet and vessel sink.
