Summary: No communication from owner explaining how to enter property. Sitting outside in 46 degree weather and having to wait on VRBO staff to get a hold of him to help us. They weren’t getting ahold of him so they gave us the contact info and eventually we got in touch and got the code to get in. There were cobwebs in the bathroom and on some of the towels. There was an empty liquor bottle and trash in the dresser in the bedroom We didn’t feel comfortable putting our kids in the “loft bed” as we’d planned so the wife and I slept up there and they took the bedroom. Gave him higher marks for communication only because the heat stopped working and he replied quickly and had maintenance out there promptly. Basically it served its purpose because we just needed a place to sleep while we visited family nearby. The neighborhood is quiet though.
