Summary: Booked this stay through hotels.com after our flight was cancelled out of NJ. Other hotels in the area were over $350 and we were in a jam. Based on the hotels.com advertisement, we thought this was a hotel, but it was much more like a hostel. Individual rooms with common dining and shower spaces. When we found the place, the front door was wide open (I think otherwise I would have been hard to tell it wasn’t someone’s home). We weren’t given a key for our room, there were big bugs in the room, and a used condom was in the bedroom trashcan with no liner. When we left in the morning, the front door was wide open again- not sure if it stayed that way all night, but it felt a little unsafe. The staff was good, but we definitely wouldn’t choose to stay here again. I wish the advertisement was more clear on the reality of the room. We want others to know what they are signing up for :(
