Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location was great for this season. Tamarindo was full so staying at Langosta was an excellent idea. The distance between Langosta and Tamarindo is about 1.5 km, walking and with sun could be exhausting. However, with the huge crowd around Tamarindo during the new year season, this was an advantage. If you have a car, you can find free parking around Tamarindo. Just leave in a zone with easy quits so you can return quickly to the apartment. The guy who was in touch with us, Andrey, was efficient and responsive in helping us with the issues faced during the stay.
Negative: There are several important points to highlight, especially for the price paid (although it is understood due to the dates, high season). 1. Check-in is too late and check-out is too early. Usually places have check-in 2-3 and minimum check-out at 12. 2. The door to the general bathroom does not close. 3. The showers are in terrible condition. You have to use the hose to bathe (telephone). 4. Check-in was at 4 and they still had serious errors in terms of cleanliness when we arrived. There were wet and used towels in both bathrooms and closets. Unforgivable mistake. 5. We were a family of 6 and they only left us 2 toilet papers and a kitchen towel. We had to call to have them send us more. 6. The fan in the room with two beds does not work. The rooms are terribly hot. They should have better quality curtains (blackout). They have AC tho. 7. The cleaning lady rushed us to leave before the agreed time
