Radiating Old World glamour and outfitted with upscale amenities, the Blue Bungalow is a uniquely elegant home away from home. Minutes from Randolph College, VA Baptist Hospital, Westminster Canterbury, and V.E.S. and a short drive to downtown, University of Lynchburg, and Liberty University.
THE SPACE
King Bedroom: features a Casper memory foam mattress on a king-size, 4-poster bed. A closet and wardrobe offer additional storage.
Queen Bedroom: features a Casper memory foam mattress on a queen-size bed. The closet and wardrobe offer additional storage, and a vanity setup provides another area to get ready for the day.
Kitchen & Pantry: brand new applicances (electric range & oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator) and cookware & utensils provide all the necessities to create a meal at home. The pantry is home to a coffee & tea bar and is stocked with complimentary snacks.
Bathroom: the 1920s-inspired bathroom features the original, restored clawfoot tub & integrated shower, perfect for long soaks or quick showers. The cabinet houses a variety of complimentary toiletries, as well as a hair dryer and first aid kit.
Livingroom: the velvet Burrow sofa seats 3 comfortably and the pair of armchairs provide additional seating. Relax with the record player or the smart TV with Netfliex.
Diningroom: seats 6 for casual or formal meals.
Outdoor Spaces: relax on the porch swing at the front of the house or on the covered, screened back patio. A dining set and lounge furniture offer a comfortable place to enjoy the beauty of the Rivermont neighborhood from dawn to dusk.
Basement: the laundry facilities (washer, dryer & complimentary laundry detergent) are available in the basement. Please note that while the staircase has been rebuilt and is very sturdy, the steps are a bit steep.
