Parking
Off-street parking is available for purchase behind the building that Security Cameras patrol. We have 3 compact parking spots and 5 regular spots available for purchase. Some of the spots are leased during M-F during business hours so spots are limited and are first come first serve basis. Spots will be sold only one per unit unless your stay comes and another spot is available. The city of Duluth has parking options within 2-4 city blocks.
Arrival and Access
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by the charming ambiance of Superior Street. Entry to The Intrepid is a journey through security and convenience, beginning at the street level. Guests will navigate through a series of secure doors, unlocked by a unique code provided to them, leading them up a flight of stairs to the second floor. You can then find the details to your suite that are shared 24 hours before arrival, ensuring a smooth and welcoming check-in process.

The Intrepid features elegantly designed interiors with all the comforts of home. Each space is thoughtfully appointed, offering guests a serene haven amidst the hustle and bustle of downtown Duluth. The entrance to The Intrepid is on the Superior St level with paid parking being around back of the building on Michigan St. To access the building you may use the loading zone out front of the building or pull around the corner to one of the street parking spots. There will be a keypad for entry to the front entrance of the building. You will then follow signs in the building for The Intrepid to the second floor. Please then follow signage to your room. You will then encounter another keypad with your access code programed into it. PLEASE NOTE: Your door will auto lock after 60 seconds of lock inactivity.

The Intrepid is a sister property of The Njord which is 5-blocks away near Fitgers. The Njord does have a rec room available to rent at a discount for our guests if you would like to have a space for: gift openings, rehearsal dinners, baby showers, birthday parties and more. Please reach out to property manager for details.
The Intrepid also offers a laundry service to its guests. Please contact the property manager for a price and to set up the pick up of your laundry bag. Your laundry will be returned to your room, folded, within 24 hrs.

Most of our guests will come into Duluth using I-35N. Take the 5th Ave W/Lake Ave Exit and proceed to Lake Ave. Continue East on Lake Ave until you reach 230 E Superior St. It is the block after the Downtown Casino.
