Nestled in the quiet mountain town on Kamas, and within a stones throw of hundreds of different adventures, your relaxing getaway or your adrenaline-filled vacation can both be realized in this one location.
We designed this home to accommodate all possible guests. Groups large or small, young & energetic, or aged & refined. Whether it be a couple’s getaway or a group of family and friends, this home will provide the necessary accommodations for a memory filled stay.
The space
We take the cleaning procedures of our home very seriously. All linens are laundered with every new stay; all commonly touched surfaces and objects are cleaned and sanitized between each booking.

The home has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, with 5 queen beds and 2 king beds. On the main floor, enjoy the beautiful large kitchen, as well as the large dining area that can seat 11 guests. Relax and unwind on the big comfortable sectional, enjoy your favorite book on the cozy window bench or gather together and play board or card games at the spacious dining room table.
Also on the main floor, you will find bedroom 1, the Master, with a private ¾ bath. In addition, just beyond the kitchen is the laundry room and a ½ bath.
On the second floor you will find a very spacious family room with another comfy sectional, more games, books, toys and a 65” smart TV for your viewing pleasures. Behind the sectional, hide folding chairs and a folding table for board and card games.
Two additional full bathrooms and 3 additional large bedrooms are also located on the second floor. Bedroom 2 is at the top of the stairs to the left and boasts both a King-sized and a Queen-sized bed, as well as a large walk-in closet, in which you will find a pack-and-play for your little ones.
Bathroom 2 is at the top of the stairs and features all new hardware, countertops and tiled shower.
Bedroom 3 is the first bedroom to the right of the stairs and also boasts a King- and Queen-sized bed.
Bathroom 3 is located near the end of the hallway and was recently added during remodel. This spacious bathroom also offers new hardware, countertops and tiled shower.
Bedroom 4, at the end of the hallway, has wonderful views to the east and into the backyard. This bedroom is equipped with 2 comfortable queen-sized beds.
The home is equipped to host 14 guests, a 15th and 16th if two are willing to sleep on either of the huge sectionals (speaking from experience, both of which are comfortable and great to sleep on).
There are a handful of great dining options in Kamas, but if your preference is home cooked meals, our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you’ll need to cook a delicious meal for your family and friends.
In the backyard, you will find a large fire pit with 6 log benches. Firewood and roasting sticks are provided for those interested in enjoying the fire pit and a few s’mores. In addition, a large playground structure with a slide and swings awaits to keep the kiddos busy and entertained.

This home also has a two-car garage and additional driveway and roadside parking for guests. If you have boats, side-by-sides, atvs, or other larger toys, we have an additional ¼ lot located behind the home that is available for additional parking. Please coordinate that with the hosts.
If you are traveling with horses, the ¼ acre lot behind the home is equipped with a small barn, watering troughs, and plenty of room for your equine friends. Please coordinate with hosts for equine guests.
Uinta Retreat also offers free Wi-Fi and a Roku connected to the TV.
This home is in a residential neighborhood, so please observe quiet time from 9 pm -7 am (especially if you are using the fire pit).
If you are so inclined and know how, you are welcome to use the grill on the back deck. Please make sure to turn off the propane and clean the grill once it has cooled down.
No shoes inside the home please. Shoes are to be taken off and left by the front door for the health and safety of all.
*Tracking mud into the home WILL result in an additional $40 cleaning fee.
