House Description
Niwa is one of the original holiday homes in Agios Georgios, built in the 1990’s but it is very tastefully restored and maintained in excellent condition by the owner, who herself spends extended periods of time year-round in the house.
For this reason it has a much more homely feeling than most properties in Antiparos. It is supremely well positioned, steps away from the long, sandy beach of Agios Georgios, its countless open spaces each offering a different vantage point. It boasts a fully developed fruit and vegetable garden, provides nourishment and a level and serenity that is usually only found in remote and isolated properties.
The word “Niwa” means garden in Japanese and is a homage to the property’s lush and serene landscape and the owner’s love for Japanese archery and pottery.
Niwa House consists of two floors. On the ground floor you will find two bedrooms: the master bedroom with a kind-sized double bed, and a twin bedroom which can be converted into a double bed. The two bedrooms share a bathroom. On the top floor (separate entrance) you will find a king-size double bed with its own private bathroom and kitchenette. Additionally, there is a unique outdoor bathroom.
