Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A beautiful little b&b, with great hiking/running trails right out the front gate. The owner makes absolutely fantastic and surprisingly healthy traditional French fare (we totally enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast he prepared for us using super-local ingredients). The place is spotless and extremely well-appointed, a real gem.

Negative: This is the one place we've stayed in our 40+ day trip around France which truly could not have been better. We stumbled upon it, needing a night's stay near Alençon and are so very happy to have had the luck of finding it.

Summary: A wonderful spot - idyllic experience in a small country setting with great food and lovely room(s).
