Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Ample space and comfortable - kitchen with a hot top, fridge, and kettle. Also laundry and dry machine. Location is pretty good - more quiet than bukit bintang, which is a 15 min walk. Downstairs theres a 7eleven and japanese store for food, and its near some other places to eat. Only about 1km walk from the metro. The rooftop gym has a treadmill, bike, and DBs that go up to 20kg. Overall I would stay here again because it was cheaper than the other similar places, but you get what you pay for, and so expect things to not be perfect.
Negative: Wifi was atrocious - speed at 0.5mbps. it was near impossible to call my family, and you can forget about trying to stream anything. Bring a Book. You also have to press the button on the router every time you want your device to connect....the staff did not tell me this and it took me 3 days to figure it out. The staff was the least friendly I've ever seen. The guy who met me acted like he was doing me a favor. The communication over whats app with the main office was confusing - they send you canned messages with a laundry list of rules and fees, and then say "oh theres no security deposit thats for our other properties". It seems poorly managed which must be why its cheaper than similar places. Shame because its quite a nice apartment. I was going to extend my stay but it was so frustrating to communicate with them I just left KL early. Also note that the "total" does not include the service fees and taxes, so expect to pay about 200 more.
