Come and relax in this private guest home on the western slope of Mauna Kea, Hawaii's oldest dormant volcano. Centrally located and just 15 minutes from the island's best white sand beaches and renowned resorts, this space makes the perfect home base for all your Big Island adventures.
This is a private suite located on the entire lower level of our home with a separate gated entrance. You will enter into our lush garden with a variety of tropical palms, fruit trees, and plants including papaya trees, avocado trees, lime trees, banana trees, pineapples, and passion fruit. It truly is an oasis. Inside is recently renovated with new cabinetry and appliances. You will feel instantly relaxed and comfortable with all the thoughtful details put into this clean space.
*Please note that the ceiling and beam heights are lower than average. While most guests can comfortably stay in this space, it is not recommended for anyone over 6'2".
Guests will have access to all of the property that is located in front of the suite. A door code is provided upon booking for key-less entry.
Other things to note
If available, late check-out and early-arrival can be requested for an additional $50 each. With late check-out, check-out time will be moved to 2pm. Early-arrival time is 12pm.
All rentals in the State of Hawaii are obligated to charge, collect and file tax- TAT 10.25% and GET 4%. Please note this tax is inclusive when booking. will be added to your price.
