About this space
My cosy, authentically restored 19th-century mill worker’s cottage is situated at the foot of Teggs Nose hill in the village of Langley, a charming village on the Cheshire/Derbyshire border on the western edge of the Peak District.
The cottage is in a fabulous location, listen to the stream in the back garden & admire the hills from the rooftop balcony.
You can visit the 3 pubs nearby, gin distillery or the ice cream farm. Take it easy and relax at this unique and tranquil getaway.
The space
Ground Floor:
The cottage has a small enclosed space at the front.
Through the front door there is the spacious and cosy lounge area with Smart TV, DVD player & Roberts Bluetooth speaker.
Leading off the small hallway is the bathroom with full size bath and shower over the bath.
The kitchen is a good size and features a 4 x seat dining area plus a barn style door, leading to a stepped garden and the stream which flows at the bottom.
First Floor:
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, the main bedroom has a King Size Emma bed, duvet & pillows, a dedicated workstation and lots of storage.
The second bedroom contains a sofa, which turns into a futon type single bed, this is only really suitable for children to sleep on.
The window opens fully and allows access to the roof top terrace, which has outdoor seating for 4 people and has beautiful views in all directions.
Guest access
Guests will have full access to all areas of the cottage

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.

Don’t forget to bring their own cot bedding. Please make sure the highchair is wiped down after use and also stored away.
