About this space
Pristine, upscale studio with private entrance, just two minutes walk from Edinburgh's beloved Portobello beach. Our goal is to offer you a stay filled with home comforts. Everything is brand new; you'll find yoga mats, beach essentials, a coffee maker, a Sony 32" TV & Harman Kardon speakers. Please treat the space with care, by observing the strict policy of asking permission before hosting visitors and consider my neighbours, by maintaining a quiet and unobtrusive atmosphere, especially after 9 p.m.
The space
The whole apartment is for your use. The studio space is thoughtfully designed to accommodate up to two guests comfortably. You have the option to share a cosy double bed with a Dormeo hybrid mattress or have separate beds, as we also provide a single fold-out bed with a pocket-sprung mattress. Please keep in mind that using the single bed will slightly reduce the available space, but it offers an economical choice for friends travelling together. Guest access
You have access to the entire apartment, which features an open-plan living area, with a fully equipped German kitchen, boasting high-end Siemens appliances (oven, hob/stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher), Silestone worktops, ample storage, a breakfast bar, plus a bistro table that seats two. There's a separate luxury bathroom with a shower above and a bedroom recess with a glass-mirrored wardrobe.

The apartment is equipped with a quiet dehumidifier and air purifier featuring a medical-grade HEPA filter. This combination enhances air quality by removing excess moisture and allergens, which is especially beneficial in current times. Having one in our own home, it was a logical choice to include in the apartment, to improve guest comfort. Please keep it operational when you're out and during high humidity, like while cooking, showering, or drying laundry.
Parking: Free on-street parking is available. If none is found, free
parking continues down the street. Head toward the beach until the road
curves to the right and then to the left. Buses: You can catch buses to the
city centre from the High Street, just a quick one-minute stroll around the
corner from the apartment.
Trains: Edinburgh Waverley Train Station is situated in the heart of the
city centre, approximately 3 miles from the apartment. You can expect to
reach it in about 15 minutes by car or taxi or opt for a 25-minute bus ride.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in time is after 4 pm and check-out time is before 10 a.m. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time, as this will disrupt my cleaner’s schedule.
