Summary: We loved staying at Pension San Ignacio Centro. It is a small family-style pension with good clean basic amenities. It is located in a quieter part of town, next to the beautiful cathedral and several local restaurants below and around the corner. But, the highlight of staying here is Javier, the concierge/manager. He is fabulous and treated us like family. He walked us around the neighborhood introducing us to the best places and cafés. They say he is more famous than Bruce Springsteen. If you stay there, ask hims to tell you the story and be sure you treat him like gold.
