The home is located in historic Old North End, three blocks from Colorado College! Located in the very heart of Downtown Colorado Springs, you can access all of the best COS attractions within minutes. Garden of the gods (4.5 mi.), Bars and Restaurants (.1 Mi), The Broadmoor Hotel (5 mi.), Cheyenne Mountain zoo (8 mi.), Memorial Hospital (2.5 mi.), and more! This 2-story converted Carriage House is a separate cottage exclusively for guest use with its own private entry & parking off the alley.
The cottage is about 1600 square feet with a small open living room, dining and kitchen combination. The main floor also has one bedroom (queen bed)/private bath (tub/shower) off of the kitchen. The living area, kitchen, bedroom, and bath are newly remodeled, well appointed and tastefully done.
The second-floor landing has a washer/dryer area, bath (shower), a semi-private loft sleeping area for three, and a huge master suite with a king bed and if you have a small child, there is an area with a 3/4 wall to create a semi-private sleeping area for the baby. There is an outside patio area with a table and gas grill for guests use.
Located on the northside of Colorado College between Memorial Hospital, the converted Carriage House is off the original main street (Tejon) of Colorado Springs and surrounded by beautiful 19th Century Victorian homes.
It's location is perfect for exploring Colorado Springs and nearby attractions or just hanging out with friends or family. Popular with parents visiting Colorado College students, visiting professors, Air Force Academy visitors, relocation stays, and visiting performing artists.

Summary: Neighborhood is great, very safe. Property is as listed. Downstairs bathroom completely updated with great shower. Kitchen has everything you need. Good Neighbors coffee shop is walkable about half a mile away and had great coffee and breakfast. Owner is quick to respond, easy to work with. No complaints, only a few things to note: Bring an eye mask if you don’t enjoy natural light at 5:30 in the morning! The upstairs rooms have skylights so it gets very bright. And maybe ear plugs if you are a light sleeper- it’s a 100 year old house so you hear the creaks. We are night owls and enjoy sleeping in on vacation so that’s just our preference! We brought our small five pound dog but there really is no yard area for taking out pets. There were two small squares of dirt where there were no bricks in the courtyard which worked okay for us but something to note if you bring pets. Bathroom upstairs is dark so it was tough to use to get ready in (can’t put on make up or shave in there) Overall, great stay and great property/location
