Welcome to Pine Beach Retreat, located in Cape Meares! This two story cottage made from pine wood boasts an incredible ocean view and close beach access, making it your favorite new retreat! With two bedrooms and two baths, up to five guests and your favorite pup will be able to enjoy some surf and sand while exploring the Oregon coast! Park the cars, and head inside!
Stepping through the front door, you'll find yourself in an open space containing the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The kitchen has everything you'll need to whip up some quick and easy meals while staying on the Oregon coast, including a refrigerator, oven/stovetop, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. Please note that this cottage does not offer a dishwasher. Have a quick bowl of cereal while sitting at the kitchen island, or indulge in your morning coffee while your family cooks breakfast at the stove. The dining room table, located just off of the kitchen, boasts a lovely view of the ocean, a mere 200 feet down the road! As you sit and enjoy your home cooked meal, be sure to watch the sun set over the deep Pacific waters. You'll never tire of this view!
The living room offers guests a loveseat couch and an armchair, so feel free to gather around the wood burning stove during those cold Oregon coast nights and warm up. Enjoy a hot cup of hot chocolate while catching up with one another, or simply curl up with a good book and soft blanket. Behind the living room area is the first bedroom containing a twin and queen bed, making this area perfect for the children in your party. Your guests will also be able to enjoy a desk and a small TV with DVD player. On the opposite side of the living room, you'll find the first bathroom, complete with a shower/tub combo. Venture out through the sliding glass door to find the deck. You'll also find a washer and dryer on this floor for guest use, so feel free to pack light for your stay, and wash clothes when necessary.
Head back inside and up the stairs to the loft area. This open concept bedroom offers guests a split king size bed. You'll have access to a desk and flat screen TV with a DVD player, perfect for keeping your little one entertained, or simply enjoy a movie before heading off to bed. The second bathroom can be found on this floor, offering double vanity sinks and a tub/shower combo. If you do plan to use the TVs, please keep in mind there is no cable or satellite. HDMI cables are waiting for you to hook up your favorite game console or streaming device. that you bring with you. You'll also have private access to the balcony where you'll have an amazing ocean view all year round! Pull out a chair, and soak in the sun while sipping on your iced tea. You'll never want to leave Pine Beach Retreat!
While staying at Pine Beach Retreat, you'll find there are many interesting things to see and do in the surrounding area. Head north to Cape Meares State Park and take a hike, or head east into Tillamook for a bit of grocery shopping. You could even check out the TIllamook Cheese Factory, boasting a fun and informative tour, along with a great cafeteria featuring authentic Tillamook dairy products, including their famous cheese and ice cream! Another great find just south of the Tillamook Cheese Factory is Blue Heron. This is a great place for the everyone featuring a petting zoo, candy, deli style lunches, and an array of gifts. Head up north into Seaside for the boardwalk, where you'll find eateries, an arcade, and of course, the beach! Be sure to drive south into Lincoln City and make your very own glass float to take home as a memory of your time on the Oregon coast. The Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport is another must see!
