Unit is in Pine Run, a sociable and dog friendly, 147-unit condominium complex less than a mile to the Gulf of Mexico and situated on 20 + acres of lush, tropical landscaping.
Bring or rent a bike and pedal along the gulf and the beautiful homes of Casey Key. Oscar Scherer State Park located ½ mile away offers great hiking trails where you can enjoy the wild turtles, nesting bald eagles, and perhaps even an alligator.
Community Complex amenities include two heated pools, clubhouse, tennis & pickleball courts, and walking trails. Located ½ mile from the intercoastal waterway with a boat/kayak launch for you to put-in and boat or paddle along with the dolphins and manatees. Just a 10-minute drive to Nokomis Beach, 15 minutes to Downtown Venice and it's beaches including a dog park and dog beach, 20 minutes to Siesta Key and 30 minutes to downtown Sarasota, St. Armand's Circle and Lido Key. Grocery store, gym, coffee shop, gas station, hardware store, and bike rental shop all located ¼ mile away.

We are dog lovers and one well-behaved dog under 60 lbs. permitted with prior approval and an additional fee and a security deposit paid directly to the owners. HOA does have breed restrictions, so we will need to know what breed your dog is when booking. No smokers allowed please.
Please note the following about this property:
-The unit is 735 sq. feet including the loft
-There is only a shower no bathtub.
-There is no washer and dryer in the unit but there is coin laundry a 30 second walk away in a separate building where you can access 3 washers and 3 dryers for $1.50 per load.
-Access to the bathroom and the stairs to the loft are inside of the master bedroom, so if privacy is a concern this may not be the property for you.
-Its Florida after all and there are critters (though not usually too active in the winter months) bugs, lizards and frogs.
-Pine Run was designed by famed Sarasota architect Frank Folsom Smith and our unit was built in 1973. Though it has been completely remodeled, it was STILL built in 1973. If you are looking for a sleek and modern high rise, this is not the unit for you. If you are looking for a sweet and comfortable condo with an old Florida feel that is surrounded by lush landscaping, walking trails, biking trails and friendly, dog loving people then you are in the right place!
