Positive: The location of this cottage/apartment is stunning, we felt like we were in a proper rural part of Italy in the Tuscany area with vineyards all around us which has a nice energy and is also very relaxing. Also loved the apartment itself - very clean and comfy with great facilities including a swimming pool. We also really appreciate the kindness of the owner (Andrew) and all his advice and support. We also loved Siena which is about 35mins drive away and highly recommend it for a visit and some lovely food & drinks.
Negative: While the location is stunning you are uber-rural and so getting around without a car is both difficult and very expensive (a 10min journey in a taxi cost 100 euros, one way!) - Uber taxi's is pretty much useless out here. You need a car or a driver with a car if you're staying here otherwise you're stuffed because nothing is close by.
Summary: Beautiful location and excellent cottage/ apartment - you need a car though
