Positive: Our stay at Pool Bay was much more than expected. It’s a beautiful private villa, with the most amazing pool. It made for the best place to relax after the day at the beach, exploring or jumping in straight from the safari. Shakir made sure everything we needed was catered for and even made us the most beautiful prawn and rice lunch, with the freshest of ingredients. He also helped to organise our Safari and a canoe in the neighbouring Lagoon. As a family of 3 there was plenty of room, with beds to spare. Would highly recommend Pool Bay if you’re looking for a private stay, that’s a very short walk into town but removed enough to not be awake all night with the parties of Arugam Bay.
