Positive: Great communal spaces, with simple and classy decor throughout the property. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of crockery etc for all guests. Our host, Alice, was helpful and communicative whenever we needed her. Plenty of space for our family group of 8 adults and 1 child to socialise and unwind. Short walking distance to nearby pubs and small supermarkets.

Negative: Just a couple of small niggles like the coffee machine needing routine maintenance during our stay, nowhere to store coats and shoes in the hallway, and some signs of incomplete cleaning between bookings. The battery powered lights and rechargeable bulbs in some of the wall lights confused some of the older members of our party too!

Summary: This was a comfortable, social space for us, in a good location for all our planned activities.
