Welcome to the Hip Donelson! It's a great safe area to relax away from the hussle of the city yet has easy interstate access to get you to downtown Nashville, Opryland, any fun part of town or the airport. The guest suite is very private, on the main level of the home and has a separate private entrance. The space is everything in the photos with no shared spaces. My home in on the ground level.
Enjoy a large living room with lots of comfy seating, oak dining table with plenty of seating, smart tv, Chromecast and over the air tv but no cable. 2 king bedrooms. Both have comfortable memory foam mattresses, cozy blankets, soft lines, and pillows. Lots of extra blankets, pillows, towels, robes, slippers, ear plugs, black out eye mask, phone chargers and bathroom toiletries. The space has everything you need to feel right at home. Coffee, Teas, creamers and sweetners in the kitchen The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, spices, cooking oils and so much more. Big windows(most with privacy curtains), lots of natural light and plants.
Parking for a maximum of 2 cars only.
The house has a nice flow for you and your guest to relax, spread out and socialize. The house is not set up to entertain additional friends in town that are not part the total number of guest in your reservation. Please limit the number of people in the home to the number of people you have listed in your reservation. In the past, large gatherings bigger than that in the reservation group, tend become too loud and there is no parking for additional cars.
There is a tall wide twin air mattress with memory foam topper. I automatically set it up with a 5 person reservation. I'm also happy to set up for smaller just ask!
There is one central heating/cooling unit for both our spaces. You control the thermostat but I've preprogrammed reasonable limits to the thermostat so I can also be comfortable. The heat maxes out at 70 degrees in the winter and the lowest the air-conditioning will let you take it is 68 in the summer.
I want you to make yourselves home and not tip toe around but just have an awareness that we are below. It's only loud when people stomp around or are in boots.
The space is not kid friendly. There are many heavy items they could easily pull down and hurt themselves. Also kids happily run around as they do and that echos too loudly in my space below.
NO pets. I'm a huge dog lover. However, for the airbnb, I have a strict no pet rule. Its proven to be impossible to clean pet hair and pet odors for the next set of guest who arent pet people. They then inevi give a low score for cleanliness in their review.
I do have pets downstairs in my apartment which shares the hvac system with your rental suite. I change air filters regularly and keep a clean home. However I want to disclose that I have 2 cats for anyone who much have a cat allergies.
