Lots of wonderful outdoor furniture (including designer pieces), deluxe large infra-red gas grill, outdoor sauna (with stereo!), outdoor hot tub in beautiful custom-built gazebo, fire pit at end of island with 3 different scenic River views! Sitting around the fire pit at night, or anywhere on this amazing island at any time of day or night - overlooking the River and Boldt Castle - illuminated at night like something out of a fairy tale! - is simply magical!

Summary: Best vacation yet in the fantastic Thousand Islands! Immaculate! Stunning views! Super-comfy furniture and mattresses! (Love the new pieces and recent island improvements!) Incredible new property manager caters to your every need! OTHER nearby island rentals have had stained furniture and carpeting (including smelly carpeting in bathrooms! Ewww!), whereas, THIS island rental has easily washed and disinfected floors and tiles throughout the houses. Those OTHER nearby island rentals also have had bats and other creatures, non-working amenities, mold, and a host of problems. I mention those deficiencies because, after enduring some heartache at OTHER island rentals, it was sheer pleasure to come to THIS island and walk into houses that were CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! And management really cares and wants you to be happy - such personal, warm, hospitable treatment! There were many places indoors and outdoors where we could all congregate and be together, as well as many places that offered privacy when desired. The front deck of the Main House, as do all the indoor and outdoor areas, offers breathtaking picture postcard views of the river, ships, castle, and lighthouse, and we tried to eat most of our meals there, while we gazed in awe at this amazing scene. It was wonderful to spend time together, but it was really nice to retire at night to the privacy of separate quarters in separate houses. We loved the owner and the island and location close to town. We will be back!
