Kona Blue Laule’a House is a luxury private retreat located on 1 acre of beautiful garden that accommodates up to 8 people and now has A/C in all bedrooms. Ideal for families, extended families and groups of friends, it offers plenty of space for all, bringing everyone together while allowing quiet spaces for those seeking some relaxing time out.
Laule’a, meaning peace, happiness and friendship, is what awaits you at this home away from home on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Located in a quiet residential area, Kona Blue Laule’a House is close enough to all attractions on the Island while far enough away from the noise and bustle of everyday life of Kona town. The property is a nature lover’s haven, providing the perfect sanctuary to relax and chill out in your own private expansive lush tropical gardens, full of birds, fruit trees and lawn areas to explore.
The house entrance, generous living areas and the pool and lanai beyond, lead your eye to the expansive 180-degree coastal views that stretch from South Kona to the north beyond the airport. You will begin to relax as soon as you step through the front door to your own piece of paradise.
Location:
Conveniently located about 5-7 minutes drive from the Kona airport and Costco, arrival after your long flight will be a breeze and departure and picking up supplies easy and stress free.
Just an easy 10 minute drive takes you to great beaches where you can swim, snorkel and often see turtles. Kona town and all it’s attractions and restaurants are only a 20 minute drive away, giving you lots of options if you don’t feel like cooking.
The location also makes it easy to explore all parts of the Island, such as south to Captain Cook, Holualoa, Volcano National Park and north to Hapuna each and Hawi and across the Island to Mauna Kea and east to Hilo as the property is only a few minutes drive to either main highway on the Island.

Park right outside the front door and enter a large, open living area with lofty vaulted beamed ceilings and comfortable seating with a 55” HDTV with cable, Netflix, sound system to play music from your phone and access to very hi speed Wi-Fi throughout the house and lanai. The house is stylishly furnished, offering a gourmet kitchen with walk-in pantry, wine fridge and lots of space for everyone. All master bedrooms have 40” HDTV with cable TV and Netflix.
Bedrooms:
Are located on both sides of the house with the living area in the middle and all now have very quiet A/C. The 2nd master bedroom with a queen bed and large ensuite bathroom is to your left of entry. On the right of entry is the 4th bedroom, with 2 extra long twin beds. The 3rd master with a queen bed plus ensuite is further to your right at the end of the hallway. Finally the very large master bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bathroom is off the hallway on the other side. It has it’s own entrance onto the lanai and pool area, feeling like your own private retreat.
A powder room is located off the living area to your left and just beyond is a laundry room with washer and dryer and iron and ironing board.
Lanai:
Offers several areas to relax in with different seating options including day bed and lounge chairs, sun lounges and outdoor sofa and lounge chairs. Enjoy Hawaiian style dining on the lanai with table and chairs for 8-12 people while enjoying the twinkling night-lights of Kona, the airport and the coast. The pool is lit at night making for lovely ambience while dining or relaxing.
Pool:
Solar heated and 35 by 15 ft 3½ ft. deep at the entrance going to a depth of around 7 ft the pool offers plenty of room to have fun and also do a few laps if you feel like it.
Bed & Bath Configurations:
Master Suite: featuring a King size bed with Sealy Destiny memory foam mattress and with double pillows. The master bathroom offers a large shower, separate bathtub and double vanities with the toilet separated from the rest of the bathroom.
Bedroom 2 - 2nd Master Suite: featuring a Queen size bed with Sealy Destiny memory foam mattress and with double pillows. The generous ensuite bathroom offers a large shower, separate bathtub, vanity and a toilet.
Bedroom 3 - 3rd Master Suite: featuring a Queen size bed with Sealy Destiny memory foam mattress and double pillows. The ensuite bathroom offers a shower over the bathtub, vanity and a toilet.
Bedroom 4: 2 extra long single beds with memory foam mattress.
Kitchen & Dining:
Preparing meals will be easy in the large gourmet kitchen while still enjoying the fabulous view. The kitchen offers all the appliances you need, lots of platters, serving dishes, utensils, baking and ovenware plus basic seasonings, coffee filters, paper and kitchen towels and other basic kitchen provisions to make your stay as easy as possible. Dine Hawaiian style on the lanai, in mood lighting from the pool, with table and chairs for 8-12 people, providing ample room to spread out and entertain.
BBQ Grill:
Located on the lanai just outside the kitchen for relaxed cooking and enjoying that fabulous view.
Lanai Bar:
The Bar is near the grill and perfect to gather and enjoy a Mai Tai while cooking and watching another spectacular sunset.
