Lovely apartment in a historic building, located in the central and pedestrian via Carlo Alberto, right in the heart of Torino.
The apartment, located on the second floor (no elevator), opens onto the bright living room, decorated with vibrant colors and fitted with a comfortable double sofa-bed, a fireplace and a TV placed on a cabinet. Further on, it is possible to access the independent and fully-equipped kitchen, including an oven, a dishwasher, a toaster, a kettle, a microwave and a washer-dryer, in addition to a dining table. Two spiral staircases lead to the bedrooms furnished with a queen-size bed each: the first one comes with a spacious wardrobe, while the second one with a desk, perfect for working from home.
A bathroom with a large shower completes the apartment.
At guests’ disposal there will be comforts such as the free wi-fi, the air conditioning throughout the apartment and the independent heating for colder days.

Summary: The flat is centrally located in the city centre, but in the rear building with a view of the inner courtyard and technical facilities. Steep spiral staircases in the stairwell and to the bedrooms not suitable for everyone, but no problem for us. The interior of the flat corresponds to the advert, but is a little older and more worn than shown there. The furnishings are tasteful, the equipment basically good, but with a few limitations: Table and chairs only for 3 people, no wifi on one of 3 days. Positive: There was a starter box with washing up utensils and bin bags, hand soap and shower gel was available which was very practical. You can't leave the building without a key, there is a ceiling-high grille at the exit of the stairwell that can only be opened with a key. This is problematic if you want to leave the house separately or are in an emergency situation. Attention must also be paid to this when checking out. Communication with agency was via WhatssApp (within working hours), some times they sent a link to click instead of writing directly in the chat, but at the end it was also possible to clarify things without using the link. The chat via Fewo-direkt (booking platform) and via mail did not work well. Despite the disadvantages mentioned, we had all in all a pleasant time and felt well in the flat, the location within walking distance of many tourist attractions and the train station is excellent, and the price-performance ratio is also good.
