Positive: The villas were lovely, we rented both Artemis and Ares, side by side. Pool in each is lovely, Ares' is slightly bigger pool, I would say. The villas had everything you would need for a stay, we barbecued a few times and that was great. All the rooms had air-conditioning and this was very welcome as it was exceptionally hot at the end of July 2025. Quiet area, peaceful villas.
Negative: Beds were simple, not luxurious, they were fine after getting used to them. Some glitches with the electrics, you needed to turn off the hot water tank to use the oven! Fine once we knew, but no-one told us! We weren't impressed with the Pyramid City Villas restaurant, too expensive and most of the items on their menu weren't available. It's worth noting that in July the mosquitos were awful, we weren't able to be outside from 7pm to 10pm at night, so had to eat indoors. Apparently they are worst in July/August.
