Quien East, Spence Cottage is a lovely cottage situated in the village of Straad just four miles from Rothesay Isle of Bute. The cottage sleeps six people in one double bedroom with en-suite shower and two further doubles as well as having a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Outside is ample off road parking and a garden with patio and furniture. Quien East, Spence Cottage is a superb cottage in a lovely location, convenient for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

Today there is much to do and see on this beautiful island which is very accessible by ferry crossing, either the 35 minute trip from Wemyss Bay or else the shorter 5 minute crossing to the north of the island from Colintraive. Visit the castle ruins in the centre of town, enjoy the stunning scenery with coastal walks or on one of the cycle routes around the island and visit historic Mount Stuart House to view the displayed copy of Shakespeares First Folio, discovered in the house in 2016, as well as its superb gardens.
